We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Job Coach to join our DFN Project SEARCH team, assisting young adults with learning disabilities and/or neurodivergence to take their first steps into the world of work. What you'll do: • Help interns overcome barriers and achieve their employment goals. • Support interns within workplace settings to develop independence and job skills. • Deliver tailored coaching, mentoring and encouragement. • Work with partners, including Borders College and NHS Borders to create opportunities leading to positive outcomes for interns. • Engage with employer to create and maintain positive and inclusive work experiences. • Monitor progress, celebrate achievements and support career development. • Promote confidence, self-advocacy and workplace success. Responsibilities

Educated to relevant SVQ 3 Level or significant relevant experience A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
