Pay: £15.30 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week working 4 on, 4 off nights only

As a Security Officer , you will play a key role in protecting people, property, and assets while delivering a professional and customer-focused security service. Working in line with site procedures and customer requirements, you will embody our core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness, ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times️

As a Security Officer, your key responsibilities include conducting security patrols, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, preventing unauthorised access, and responding to security incidents as required. You will also carry out locking and unlocking duties, manage keys and security equipment, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service to visitors, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A valid SIA licence
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
• Great IT skills
• Great customer service 
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
