Tagged Resources has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Merchandiser to join a forward-thinking company that produces young ladies' and men's fashion ranges for a range of stores and their own branded products. The company is an established supplier based in Manchester, producing fashion ranges for 18–30-year-olds.
What the Merchandiser will do:
- Keep full and up-to-date records of all orders under your remit
- Inform seniors of any possible late delivery
- Assist seniors in all matters as required
- Staying up to date with QC on fits and samples to ensure orders are running on time
- Making bookings on time
- Keeping labels, barcodes and accessories up to date for the factories
- Raising dockets to factories
- Checking purchase orders
- Communicating with buyers and factories
- Keeping the critical path up to date
- Liaising with the warehouse to arrange inbound and outbound deliveries
- To be part of customer meetings
What Tagged Resources is looking for:
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience working to the critical path and tight deadlines.
- Commercial understanding around maintaining timely customer deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- A clear understanding of the processes and functions of merchandising.
- Ensuring the precise entry of critical business data
- Experience working with accounts, including New Look, Primark and George, is a plus.
