Job Summary:
This family is seeking a warm, experienced and proactive Family Assistant / Nanny Housekeeper to support their three children, aged 3, 8 and 10, at their home in Richmond. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role combining hands-on childcare with light housekeeping, helping to give the family back valuable time at home.
The role is primarily focused on after-school childcare, including school and nursery pick-ups, activities, homework, dinner preparation and the youngest child’s bath and bedtime routine.
The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable and flexible, with the confidence to manage a busy after-school routine across three children. A confident cook is important, as the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing varied, healthy children's meals from scratch.

Job specification:

• School and nursery pick-ups, along with driving the children to clubs, activities and playdates
• Providing warm, attentive and engaging childcare during the after-school hours
• Hands-on care of the 3-year-old, including bath time and bedtime routine
• Supporting with homework and primary-level schoolwork
• Preparing varied, healthy children's dinners from scratch
• Helping with the children’s daily routines and ensuring they are well prepared for the following day
• Preparing school bags, PE kits, uniforms and lunchboxes
• Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
• Children’s laundry and general organisation of their belongings
• Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy after meals

Candidate specification:

• Previous childcare experience across a range of ages, ideally as a Nanny, Family Assistant or similar
• A confident cook, with the ability to prepare varied and healthy children’s meals from scratch
• Reliable, punctual and calm when managing a busy after-school routine with three children
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to changing routines and schedules
• A team player who works well alongside parents, the family’s EA and other household staff
• Happy to pitch in with light housekeeping and domestic tasks alongside childcare
• Full UK driving licence
• Warm, proactive and genuinely enjoys working with children
• Able to work independently, use initiative and take responsibility for keeping the children and their environment organised

Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
