We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic part-time RE teacher to join our vibrant department within a high-achieving co-educational school in Lambeth (start date January 2025). This is a fantastic chance to share your knowledge and passion for Religious Education with students of all abilities, fostering their understanding and appreciation of different faiths and beliefs.

About the Role (Part-Time):

• Delivering engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across the curriculum, potentially catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and/or Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11) in line with the National Curriculum (pro-rated for part-time role).
• Creating a stimulating and well-resourced learning environment that promotes critical thinking, respectful dialogue and a deeper understanding of religious and philosophical concepts.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of the RE curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision and the latest advancements in the field (pro-rated for part-time role).
• Building strong relationships with students, fostering their confidence and encouraging open and respectful discussions about faith (pro-rated for part-time role).
• Participating in departmental and whole-school events, contributing to the wider school community (pro-rated for part-time role).

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified RE teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for fostering a respectful and inclusive learning environment where students can explore different faiths and beliefs.
• Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
• A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive and thought-provoking learning environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• A willingness to be part of a dynamic school and contribute to its ongoing development.
