Lunchtime Supervisor

We are seeking a warm, dedicated, and proactive Lunchtime Support Assistant to join our vibrant school community. In this essential role, you will ensure our students enjoy a safe, happy, and well-supervised lunchtime environment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Student Supervision & Wellbeing: Provide daily active supervision during lunch breaks. Promote positive behaviour, respectful interactions, and positive play.

• Environment & Safety: Ensure indoor dining areas and outdoor spaces remain safe, clean, and hygienic. Help clear tables, mop accidental spillages, ensure pupils tidy their spaces, and check that outdoor play equipment is safe for use.

• Health & Safeguarding: Actively promote and safeguard the welfare of all students, strictly adhering to school Health & Safety regulations, safety procedures, and confidentiality policies.

• Team Collaboration & Communication: Assist operational staff in daily lunchtime routines, liaise with key staff members to report any incidents or concerns, and keep up to date with school bulletins and minutes.

• Professional Development: Attend relevant staff meetings, INSET training days (with arrangements adjusted for part-time hours as necessary), and follow the staff code of conduct.

• Flexibility: Perform any other reasonable duties prescribed by the leadership team to support the continuous improvement and smooth running of the school.

Note: This is a dedicated support role and not a teaching position. The post holder will not assume teaching duties or take responsibility for the quality of academic instruction.
