Barista/FOH Waiting on Staff
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers : Welcome guests and seat them
- Taking orders : Input orders into the POS system and relay them to the kitchen
- Serving food and drinks : Deliver food and drinks to customers in a timely manner
- Ensuring customer satisfaction : Check on customers throughout their meal and address special requests
- Handling payments : Accept cash or card payments and deliver checks
- Maintaining a clean work area : Keep the dining area clean and tidy
- Collaborating with kitchen and staff : Communicate with kitchen staff and cooperate with other serving staff
Additional duties
- Setting and arranging tables
- Presenting menus and beverage lists
- Opening bottles and pouring beverages
- Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to kitchen
- Making recommendations based on guest questions and preferences
- Up-selling when appropriate
- Adhering to all relevant health department rules and regulations
must be able to travel into Wilmslow
