Our client, a respected insurance company, have a new opening for an experienced Income Protection Claims Assessor. This is a full-time permanent position, specifically this role will be working on disability claims, including Income Protection and Critical Illness products. This will be a hybrid role with lots of flexibility to work from home. You will be responsible for efficiently and accurately assessing Income Protection claims, providing support to clients with regards to absence management, as well as identifying non valid and fraudulent claims and ensuring the accurate
assessment of liability. You will also insure the timely review and follow up of all in payment income protection claims to verify continued entitlement to benefit, mitigating measures available and accurate claims reserving. Applicants should have an excellent technical knowledge and awareness of Group Income Protection claim assessment and management. Previous claims decision making authority is an essential requirement.
