Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging drama lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum guidelines
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of all abilities
• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and promote their interest in drama
• Plan and prepare lessons, assignments, and assessments that are aligned with educational standards
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback on their progress
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school activities
• Monitor and manage student behaviour in the classroom and during drama productions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field
• Teaching qualification or certification in Drama Education
• Experience teaching Drama to primary or secondary students is highly desired
• Proven ability to engage and inspire students through creative and innovative teaching methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices in Drama Education
