THE ROLE

As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for repairing accident-damaged vehicles to a high standard, ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with manufacturer repair methods. Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing damaged vehicle panels and determining the appropriate repair or replacement method.
• Repairing and replacing body panels and structural components as required.
• Carrying out straightening, alignment, and structural repairs using appropriate equipment.
• Restoring vehicles to manufacturer specifications while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Working closely with MET Technicians, Paint Technicians, and other workshop colleagues to maintain an efficient repair process.
• Managing allocated repairs effectively to meet agreed productivity and quality standards.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure completed repairs meet the required standard.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

ABOUT YOU

This opportunity would suit an experienced Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Vehicle Body Repair Technician / Body Repair Technician who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs. You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician within an accident repair centre or Bodyshop.
• Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
• Proven experience
• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle body repair methods and techniques.
• Experience repairing and replacing damaged body and structural components.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• The ability to work efficiently while maintaining consistently high repair standards.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.
