English teacher
Location: Hadlow
Contract: Permanent
Start date: September 2026
Pay: £135 to £200 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications)
Academics are currently seeking an English Teacher to join an excellent secondary school in Tonbridge. If you have a love for teaching English and have the ability to engage students in English lessons, we want to hear from you!
Role Overview
* Deliver high-quality English lessons up to KS5
* Plan and create engaging, curriculum led lessons
* Encourage an interest of reading, writing, and communication
* Monitor student progress and support academic development
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
* Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom control
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
