School Crossing Patrol

Salary: £13.28 - £13.92 per hour

Grade: CD

Contract: Permanent 

Hours: 6.15 Hours per week (Term time only)

Location: Great Ayton, North Yorkshire - Newton Road

We are currently looking for a dedicated School Crossing Patrol officer in Great Ayton who wants to make a real difference to their local community.

The Role

Our school crossing patrols keep children and adults safe on their daily school journeys, providing a vital service to the local community.

Duty times :  Monday–Friday 8.10am-8.50am and 15.00-15.35pm (6.15 hrs per week) 

Your duties will include:

·            Ensure safe road crossing for children and pedestrians during patrol times

·            Stop traffic using the official ‘STOP’ sign

·            Conduct pre-duty health and safety checks of the crossing site

·            Report any hazards, equipment issues, or site concerns to the Patrol Officer

·            Wear and maintain approved uniform and equipment
