Class 1 Driver - Kiveton Park
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to work with a reputable company in the transportation industry in Kiveton Park. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to following all safety regulations.
Shift Patterns
- Averaging between 8 - 12 hours depending on route.
Pay Rates
- 18.11 GBP hourly
Essential Requirements for Class 1 Driver
- Full UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience
- Maximum 6 points on driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC / DQC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No unspent endorsements, other than speeding/parking offences, up to a maximum of 6 points
- No convictions for careless/dangerous driving or driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs within the last 5 years
Skills Requirements for Class 1 Driver
- Good knowledge of UK roads and the Highway Code
- Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Tachograph regulations
- Ability to complete vehicle checks, report defects and follow safe systems of work
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Role for Class 1 Driver
- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure all loads are secured correctly and transported in compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of driving hours and rest periods.
