An exciting job role has recently become available at the Newcastle City Council. They are looking for a new member for their Adult Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the assessment and safeguarding of vulnerable adults, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Supporting the development and implementation of care plans tailored to the needs of individuals.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and other professionals to coordinate services and resources.
- Participating in safeguarding investigations and contributing to the development of safeguarding plans.
- Maintaining accurate records of assessments, care plans, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications :
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Newly qualified with a strong desire to work in adult safeguarding.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting adults at risk.
- A willingness to learn and develop within the field of adult safeguarding.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
