Stores Person / Driver
Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Stores Person / Driver to manage their equipment and material store in Peterborough. This role is instrumental in ensuring their equipment is organised, maintained, and delivered to various sites as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct deliveries of equipment to/from their sites (including London) as needed.
- Manage and account for all equipment at Head Office and onsite, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Supervise the cleaning and servicing of equipment returned to their workshop, preparing it for redeployment.
- Maintain and update the asset register consistently.
- Liaise with the Workshop Manager and on-site operatives to assess and fulfil site requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a full UK driving licence for equipment deliveries.
- Demonstrates strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Has a good working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
- Is familiar with COSHH waste regulations (desirable).
- Exhibits a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication.
- Shows a commitment to quality and safety standards.
- Is a team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues.
