Role Overview:
As Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop teaching materials, monitor student progress, and implement effective strategies to support learning. Your role will involve promoting a positive learning environment where students feel confident in developing their mathematical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

• Teach a range of mathematical topics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential involvement at Key Stage 5.

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.

• Maintain accurate records of student performance and contribute to reporting processes.

• Use a range of teaching strategies to support students of varying abilities.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student engagement.

Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

• Degree in mathematics or a closely related subject.

• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the mathematics curriculum.

• Ability to inspire confidence and interest in mathematics among students.
