Do you enjoy building relationships, uncovering opportunities and speaking with customers every day? Are you looking for a sales role where you'll inherit an established customer base whilst also developing new business opportunities?

We're recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing manufacturing business looking to expand its commercial team with an enthusiastic and driven Telesales Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous telesales, internal sales or customer service experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

The Role

As a Telesales Executive, you'll be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of customers whilst proactively contacting new and lapsed accounts to generate sales opportunities. You'll work closely with the wider commercial team to build lasting customer relationships, maximise sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This is a varied role combining relationship management, business development and account support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys speaking to customers and making a real commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an existing portfolio of customer accounts via telephone and email
• Proactively contact prospective and lapsed customers to generate new business
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products
• Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business
• Support promotional campaigns and new product launches
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain CRM records, customer information and call activity
• Work collaboratively with the field sales and account management teams
• Resolve customer enquiries professionally and efficiently
• Share market feedback and customer insights with the wider business

About You

You'll be a confident communicator who enjoys speaking with customers and has the drive to achieve results.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in telesales, internal sales, sales support or a customer service role
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, positive and target-focused approach
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems
• Experience within manufacturing or FMCG would be advantageous but isn't essential.
