Lead Technical Operator (AVI/Pack Team)
Lead technical operator role managing automatic visual inspection and pharmaceutical packing lines at a contract manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include line operation, equipment monitoring, team supervision, GMP compliance, and documentation in a rotating shift environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate AVI and packing lines according to SOPs and batch manufacturing records
- Perform in-process checks, line clearance, component replacement, and batch documentation to ensure cGMP compliance
- Monitor equipment status, report faults, and support maintenance and changeover activities
- Supervise team activities, organize production targets, and track progress and downtime reporting
- Escalate non-conformances, deviations, and equipment issues to appropriate management and quality representatives
Requirements
- Experience operating automatic visual inspection or packaging equipment
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and pharmaceutical manufacturing standards
- Ability to work rotating 24/7 shift pattern including day and night shifts
- Competency in batch record completion and SAP system transactions
- Team leadership capability and supervisory experience
- Understanding of cleanroom protocols and personal protective equipment requirements
