Youth Development Coach – Boxing, Fitness & Education
Training Cave – Birstall, West Yorkshire (WF17) £13.50–£14.50 per hour | Part‑time | 30 hours per week
Training Cave is looking for a motivated and values‑driven Youth Development Coach to support young people through structured boxing, fitness and practical education sessions. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in sport, coaching or fitness who wants to make a genuine social impact.
This role is suited to individuals who are passionate about youth development, behaviour support and mentoring. Training Cave works with young people who struggle in mainstream education, providing structure, routine and positive role modelling through a unique blend of physical training and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality boxing and fitness coaching sessions
- Support education, life‑skills and personal development programmes
- Provide consistent mentoring, behaviour support and positive role modelling
- Build strong, professional relationships with young people
- Maintain safeguarding standards and accurate session records
- Work collaboratively within a small, purpose‑led coaching team
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Background in fitness, sport or coaching
- Full UK driving licence
- Enhanced DBS
Desirable:
- Experience working with young people
- Boxing experience

Training and Progression
The successful candidate will receive:
- Safeguarding training
- First Aid certification
- England Boxing coaching qualifications
- Ongoing mentoring and professional development
- A clear progression pathway, including Senior Coach, Programme Lead or Education Lead roles
Working Pattern
- 30 hours per week
- Mix of daytime, evening and weekend sessions
- Flexibility required
