CER Education are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated group of General Secondary Teachers to join a successful secondary school in Barnsley . This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high‑quality lessons and inspiring students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 .

About the Role
As a Secondary School Teacher, you will:
- Teach KS3 and KS4 PE , delivering engaging and inclusive practical and theory lessons
- Plan and deliver high‑quality sessions aligned with the national curriculum
- Monitor student progress and provide supportive, constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and department resources
- Create a positive and energetic learning environment that promotes participation, teamwork, and physical wellbeing
- Lead or support extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and events
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge and up-to-date understanding of PE curriculum standards
- Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Ability to drive is preferred; otherwise, reliable public transport links are essential
