We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Associate to compliment our Neighbourhood Nursing Teams, supporting with the provision of holistic, person centred care as delegated within your level of agreed competency, to patients, families/carers in their own homes.
The service covers from 7am to 7pm, 7 days a week. You will need to work a mixture of the following shift times to cover the needs the service: 7am to 3pm, 8.30am to 4.30pm and 11am to 7pm. This position involves working weekends and some Bank Holidays.
You will be expected to work flexibly across the Neighbourhood Nursing service. The role encompasses treatment, advice and teaching within the professional competence of the post holder and applicants need to demonstrate a commitment to the provision of high-quality evidence-based care. You will demonstrate an awareness of current evidence-based approaches to patient care and will be actively involved in the development of local strategies and contribute to service improvement and redesign. Qualifications: As a Nurse Associate you will have completed your care certificate, Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care and/or Nurse Associate qualification.
Experience: Previous experience in health within a community setting.
Special Knowledge/ expertise: Clinical competencies including phlebotomy wound care, pressure area care and catheter care.
You will possess a willingness to develop professionally and to work collaboratively with other services (e.g GP, social care).

- MCH is considering merging with Kent Community Health Foundation Trust (KCHFT). If the merger goes ahead, the proposed transfer date is 30th September 2026 and this role will be subject to TUPE transfer to KCHFT.
