Job Title: Band 6 Biomedical Scientist - Haematology Team Specialism: Haematology Location: Portsmouth, UK Salary: Up to £26.00 per hour Type: Locum, Full-time (3 months)
We're on the hunt for a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology to join our dynamic team in Portsmouth, UK. This exciting locum position offers a competitive pay rate of up to £26.00 per hour. Initially, you will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm while training, with potential late shifts from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm or 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm as you develop into the role. This contract is for an engaging three-month period with the potential for renewal. Utilise your advanced experience in Haematology and Coagulation laboratories, working confidently at a Band 6 specialist level.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including DxH900, Stago Star Max 3, and Starsted ESR analysers, while efficiently using the Winpath Enterprise LIMS.
Perform morphological analysis and malaria identification and screening with a high level of accuracy.
