A community secondary school in Southend-on-Sea is seeking an enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join its committed staff team. The successful candidate will deliver inclusive PE lessons and contribute to the wider personal development of students.
The Role
Inclusive PE Delivery: Teach practical PE across KS3 and KS4.
Personal Development: Use sport to develop teamwork, discipline and confidence.
Activity Planning: Deliver a varied programme including athletics, games and fitness.
Student Engagement: Encourage participation from students of all abilities.
Enrichment: Support clubs, fixtures, activity days and school-wide wellbeing events.
The Candidate
Relevant Degree: A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related subject.
Practical Expertise: Strong knowledge of a broad range of sporting activities.
Inclusive Approach: Ability to engage students with different needs and abilities.
Positive Influence: A strong role model with excellent interpersonal skills.
Organisation: Effective planning and classroom management.
