Stores Operative – Temp to Perm Opportunity

Looking for a hands-on role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position?

Driver Hire is recruiting a Stores Operative on behalf of our client. This is a 10-week temp-to-perm opportunity, giving you the chance to prove yourself and potentially join the company on a permanent basis.

Pay Rates

• £12.71 per hour (holiday pay accrued)
• £14.24 per hour (advanced holiday pay)

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 3:00pm
• 38.5 hours per week
• Weekends are FREE!!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Booking in deliveries and stock
• Putting goods away in the correct locations
• Picking and packing orders
• Processing work orders
• Keeping the stores area clean, tidy, and organised

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and hardworking
• Keen to learn new skills
• Organised and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working as part of a team

Previous stores or warehouse experience is helpful, but it’s not essential. A driving licence and forklift licence would be an advantage, but don’t worry if you don’t have them. For the right person, forklift training can be provided once the role becomes permanent.
