Retail Security Relief Officer - Tesco Partnership Location: Rushden (NN10 9JR)
Pay Rate: £13.72 per hour
Hours: 0-48 hours per week
Working Days: Monday to Sunday
Shifts: Early and late shifts between 06:00 and 00:00
Typical Shift Patterns: 07:00-14:00 and 14:00/15:00-23:00/00:00 About the Role
Kingdom Group is recruiting Retail Security Relief Officers to support Tesco stores in Rushden. This is a flexible relief position suited to individuals who can adapt to different shift patterns and store requirements. Working between 0 and 48 hours per week on a rota basis, you will be required to work a combination of early and late shifts across Monday to Sunday. Typical shifts are 07:00-14:00 and 14:00/15:00-23:00/00:00, although start and finish times may vary depending on store requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff while representing the Kingdom brand Key Responsibilities * Conduct regular patrols of the store to maintain safety and security
* Act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
* Monitor store activity and respond promptly to incidents
* Complete accurate incident reports and maintain clear records
* Support Tesco colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
* Handle challenging situations calmly and professionally Requirements * Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervision or Security Guarding)
* Full 5-year checkable work history
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential)
* Willingness to travel when required
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Professional, reliable, and confident approach
* Good observational skills and sound judgement
