Machine Operator

Job Responsibilities
- Operate large-scale industrial machinery in accordance with defined instructions and operating procedures.
- Follow production schedules diligently, working effectively within a small team or crew.
- Set up machines, load raw materials, and manually operate equipment to manufacture adhesive tapes.
- Unload finished products from machinery, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process, exercising control and judgement.
- Work from written or verbal instructions, applying general operating procedures with some degree of judgement.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues or problems during production, seeking assistance when necessary.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Accurately perform basic data entry and utilise computer systems as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
- Previous experience operating production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Good organisational skills with reliable timekeeping and attendance.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively within a team.
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing settings.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating shift pattern, including days and evenings on an 8-hour rotation, Monday to Friday
