Social Care Woker - Personal Assistant ZP / RC / 1.25

Zac is a happy boy who enjoys being active outdoor and watching his ipad. He is Autistic and non-verbal - phrases to aid communication would need to be learnt. Some personal care will be required.
A typical day for Zac includes going to school, bouncing on his trampoline and watching his iPad. Some days you'll find yourself taking Zac to Air Thrill or to an ASN gymnastic session, other days could be going to the local swimming pool or park.
Responsibilities include escorting Zac to and from activities, ensuring his safety and supporting him in doing the things he enjoys most.
The ideal match is a personal assistant who is patient, understanding of Zac's needs and wanting to help him access the world around him, someone that will take the time to get to know him and be caring and nurturing, someone who is ready to make a difference.
This role is based in Kirkintilloch, so it's important you can travel to and from the area reliably.
This role involves 4 per week, with flexibility depending on specific needs.
Wage £14.20 per hour
Although previous ASN/care work is not necessary, we would prefer for someone who has a genuine interest in caring for a child with complex needs and a significant impairment of functional language.
A driving license is required to help take Zac to and from places he loves.
