The Plaza Hotel is looking for a Meeting, Events & Reservations Executive to join the Team!

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, managing bookings and helping to create successful meetings and events. The successful candidate will be an important point of contact for our guests and clients, ensuring that every enquiry and booking is handled efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries and bookings for meetings, events and hotel reservations.
• Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and booking confirmations.
• Discuss client requirements and recommend suitable meeting and event options.
• Manage bookings from the initial enquiry through to the event or guest arrival.
• Coordinate meeting and event details with the relevant hotel departments.
• Ensure all booking information is accurate and kept up to date.
• Follow up on enquiries and confirmed bookings.
• Assist with meeting room layouts, catering requirements, equipment and other event arrangements.
• Build strong and professional relationships with guests, clients and business partners.
• Support the hotel team in delivering a high standard of customer service.
• Carry out general administration and other duties as required.

The interior of this 4-star hotel now features exciting new eateries alongside 122 spacious and comfortable ensuite bedrooms, including a selection of large suites. Two bright and versatile event spaces, along with four meeting suites, provide the perfect setting for conferences and events of all sizes, from 5 to 200 guests.

Requirements

• Has previous experience in hotel reservations, meetings and events, hospitality or a similar role.
• Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Is organised, reliable and has strong attention to detail.
• Can manage multiple enquiries and bookings in a busy environment.
• Is confident communicating with guests and clients by phone, email and in person.
• Has good computer skills and is comfortable working with booking and reservation systems.
• Works well both independently and as part of a team.
• Has a positive and professional attitude.
• Is flexible and willing to support colleagues across the hotel when required.
