MOD General Practitioner

Duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Deliver healthcare outputs that support the needs of Defence in accordance with DPHC Priorities as directed by Principle Medical Officer (PMO). Deliver quality outcomes in primary healthcare to the entitled population and participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve individual and population health. To diagnose, prescribe, treat and recommend disposal of primary care patients. To carry out Occupational, Aviation and Underwater Medicine Examinations. Full training will be provided on these aspects where required. To supervise the clinical practice and continuing education of the General Duties Medical Officer (GDMO) and General Practitioner (GP) Specialty trainees, when borne.
