The Best Connection are currently seeking a Class 2 (Category C) HIAB Driver for our client, a leading Builders Merchant, based at their Hull depot.
This is a temporary relief cover position, however, there is regular work available for the right candidate who demonstrates reliability and professionalism.
The Role:
- Delivering building materials to trade and residential sites across the local area.
- Operating a vehicle-mounted crane (HIAB) safely and efficiently for loading/unloading.
- Conducting daily vehicle walk-around checks and maintaining records.
- Acting as a professional face of the company at the point of delivery.
Shift Pattern & Pay:
- Monday to Friday: 07:30 - 16:30
- Hourly Rate: £16.00 per hour.
- 8 hour days
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid HIAB Certification (ALLMI or equivalent).
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 penalty points (for insurance purposes).
- No DD's,DR's or IN10's on licence
- Experience in the construction supply or merchant industry is highly desirable.
