We're working with fantastic SEND and SEMH schools across Bristol that are looking for caring, resilient and enthusiastic Psychology graduates to support children and young people with a range of additional needs.
No two days are the same. One moment you'll be helping a pupil regulate their emotions, the next you'll be celebrating a breakthrough that seemed impossible just weeks before. It's challenging, rewarding and genuinely makes a difference.
The role:
- Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs
- Working one-to-one and in small groups to help pupils access learning
- Building positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, understood and confident
- Supporting emotional regulation, communication and social development
- Working alongside experienced teachers, SENCOs and therapists
We're looking for:
- A Psychology graduate (or a related degree)
- A genuine interest in child development, mental health or SEND
- A calm, patient and positive attitude
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Experience working with children or young people is a bonus, but not essential
