Finance Manager

Role:

Our client is looking for immediate, temporary, Finance Manager to assist them for 3-6 months. You be will be responsible for following duties:

• Validate the month end management accounts prepared by management accountant, ensuring all balance sheet accounts and P&L details are fully reconciled.
• Preparation of Group consolidated monthly reports including inter-company eliminations and reconciliation
• Ensure all group entity tax platforms have been completed, filled and reconciled on time
• Prepare the MI Pack for board and external reporting requirements, including all relevant commentary.
• Authorise the weekly pay runs in line with cash flow plans
• Oversee the cash collection processes ensuring customer are paying in line with agreed terms.
• Prepare the 6 week detailed rolling cash flow plan for the HOF.
• Prepare the 13 week rolling cash flow plan, identifying any gaps from sales, operations and AP payment requirements to be corrected pre the 6 week detailed plan for the HOF.
• Prepare the 22 week rolling overview cash flow plan, highlighting gaps or opportunities with relevant dept teams & HOF.
• Assist the HOF with the implementation of financial reporting deadlines ensuring all deadlines are adhered to.
• Working closely with the Product Development, Marketing and Operations teams to ensure spending is on track and in line with budget.
• Analysis of monthly sales by product, brand, market and customer.
• Preparation of weekly flash sales reports and commentary.
• Leading the finance teams NOVA intelligence system integration, deployment and enhancement.
• Authorising the quarterly royalty statements for submission to external third party IP licensors.
• Management of royalty advance payments and minimum guarantees, maintaining accurate reconciliations of royalties reported versus payments made.
• Overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable including review of weekly payment runs and highlighting areas of concern to the HOF in a timely manner.
• Initially this role may involve some processing of AP invoices. As we upgrade our systems and automate processes, this part of the role will transition to the Finance Assistant.
• Ensuring submission of quarterly VAT returns.
• Assist the HOF with the preparation of quarterly forecasts, annual budget and quarterly cashflow forecasts.
• Support the HOF in reviewing financial processes as well as implementing controls and efficiencies where necessary.
• Production of year end reports and schedules and liaison with external accountants for the preparation of the statutory accounts.

Profile

The successful, temporary Finance Manager will either qualified (Eg. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent qualification) or consider Qualified by experience. You will be happy to be hands on and have experience managing the audits.

You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.

Salary & Benefits:

The temporary Finance Manager role will be paying circa £350 - £425 per day, dependant on experience.
