Role: Family Solicitor - Divorce & Matrimonial

Contract: Full time, permanent, hybrid
Salary: £38,000 - £50,000

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor to join a supportive, collaborative team handling a broad range of privately funded family matters.

You'll manage your own caseload of privately funded family matters, providing practical, compassionate and commercially focused advice to clients during what can often be challenging periods of their lives.
Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll handle a varied caseload including:
- Divorce and separation.
- Financial remedy proceedings.
- Matrimonial finance matters.
- Private children matters, including Child Arrangements Orders.
- Cohabitation and separation disputes.
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
- Domestic abuse matters, including injunction applications.
- General private family law advice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied caseload of private family matters from instruction through to conclusion.
- Advising clients on all aspects of family law with empathy and professionalism.
- Conducting negotiations and working towards constructive resolutions where appropriate.
- Preparing legal documents, court applications and supporting evidence.
- Representing clients throughout proceedings, including attendance at court where required.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service and communication.
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the Family department through networking and business development activities where appropriate.
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
We're keen to hear from qualified Solicitors with experience in privately funded family work who are passionate about delivering exceptional client care.
You'll ideally have:
- Qualified Solicitor status in England & Wales.
- Experience managing a caseload of private family law matters.
- Strong knowledge of divorce, financial remedy and private children proceedings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills.
- A compassionate and client-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- A proactive attitude with a desire to contribute to the ongoing success of the team.
