Academics Rochester is partnering with a forward-thinking Primary School in Sittingbourne Kent that is seeking a committed and experienced HLTA or Unqualified Teacher for a fixed-term contract starting September 2026.
The HLTA / Unqualified Teacher role involves covering classes across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with opportunities to lead whole class teaching as well as support smaller groups in core subjects.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds HLTA qualification
* Minimum 6 months’ experience in class cover
* Positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
* Approachable, engaging, and encouraging with students
* Committed to safeguarding students in line with school policy and highest standards
* Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
