Job Description
We are recruiting a Night Security Concierge to support our Homeless Hostel services across Greenwich Southeast London . We are looking for reliable, professional individuals with experience in security , concierge , or night support roles . You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security and wellbeing of residents during night shifts while representing our organisation with professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming and professional presence to residents.
- Monitor CCTV, respond to alarms and maintain a secure environment.
- Prevent security breaches and manage unauthorised access.
- Record and manage incidents, ensuring accurate incident logging.
- Respond calmly to challenging situations using de-escalation techniques.
- Complete the Daily Occurrence Log to a high standard.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy and positive engagement with residents.
Qualifications & Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Support, Health & Social Care (preferred).
- Enhanced DBS (or SIA Licence as alternative).
- 1–2 years’ experience in a similar night security or concierge role.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
