Acorns Children's Hospice Trust is seeking a Project Partner to lead the delivery of strategic and cross-organisational projects that support Acorns strategic objectives and operational priorities. You'll work in partnership with project sponsors, stakeholders and subject matter experts, ensuring that projects are effectively planned, governed and delivered, achieving agreed outcomes, benefits and sustainable change.
About the Role
At Acorns Children's Hospice we offer specialist palliative care and support for children and their families across the West Midlands. We are there wherever and whenever they need us, in the hospice, community and at home. Our aim at Acorns is to help families feel equipped to cope at every stage of their child's life with dedicated teams offering psychological, emotional and practical support.
As a Project Partner, you will:
- Lead project delivery activities, coordinating contributions from sponsors, subject matter experts and delivery teams to achieve agreed outcomes
- Monitor progress and take action to address issues, risks and dependencies, engaging subject matter experts where specialist advice is required
- Build effective relationships with sponsors, stakeholders, external suppliers and delivery teams throughout the project life-cycle
- Support budget management, resource planning and business case development
- Promote project management best practice, tools and methodologies
About You
- Experience of successfully managing and delivering multiple projects of varying complexity
- Experience of developing project plans, managing risks, issues, dependencies and benefits
- Experience of working with stakeholders at different levels across an organisation
- Project/Programme Management qualification
