Our client provides advanced high-precision manufacturing services from centres of excellence located in the UK and Poland. Due to ongoing demand, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Glasgow as a EDM Engineer. As EDM Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Spark and Wire Erosion machines to perform EDM precision machining operations.

EDM Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Machinery set-up and operate machines
- Loading materials and unloading finished products
- Adjust machine settings as required
- Follow technical drawings working to customer tolerances
- Carefully follow procedures and safety guidelines. Including company procedures, operating standards, and process documentation
- Maintain an accurate log of production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs. Machine inspections for mechanical or safety issues
- Ensure machines are well stocked with tooling and material to ensure limited downtime
- Safety focus to ensure themselves and others are safe around operational machinery
- Flexibility to support production requirements during busier periods
EDM Engineer Skills & Behaviours:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skill
- Ability to follow instructions
EDM Engineer Qualifications & Experience:
- Time served EDM Engineer
- Experience in Spark Erosion & Wire Erosion
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components
- Knowledge of safety and manufacturing regulations and procedures
