Scottish Borders Council is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Family Placement Team Leader to lead our experienced and highly regarded Family Placement Service, supporting foster care, adoption and permanence planning across the Borders. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional who can provide strong leadership, promote innovative and trauma-informed practice, and work collaboratively with colleagues, carers and partner agencies to ensure children grow up in safe, loving and nurturing family environments. We are looking for someone who is passionate about The Promise, values relationship-based practice, and can support, develop and inspire staff while driving continuous improvement across the service. • CCETSW approved qualifications in Social Work e.g. Dip SW/CQSW/CSS or equivalent • Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
