This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and personable professional who is passionate about improving attendance and supporting young people to achieve their full potential. The Role As Attendance Officer, you will play a key role in promoting excellent attendance across the school by: Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality.Investigating and following up on absences.Working closely with students, parents/carers and external agencies.Producing attendance reports and analysing attendance data.Supporting attendance improvement strategies and interventions.Maintaining accurate pupil records in line with school policies and statutory requirements.Liaising with pastoral staff and senior leaders to identify and support students at risk of persistent absence. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has previous experience in an attendance, administration, pastoral or safeguarding role within education.Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Is confident using school management systems and Microsoft Office.Can work independently and manage a varied workload.Has strong attention to detail and a professional approach.Is committed to supporting positive outcomes for young people.
