We are looking to recruit a reliable and motivated Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day running of the hospital, ensuring services operate safely and efficiently.
Key duties will include:
- Moving equipment, supplies, and clinical materials as required
- Supporting staff with deliveries and collections throughout the NHSH area
- Assisting with waste disposal in line with infection control standards
- Responding promptly to requests to maintain patient service delivery
What we’re looking for:
- A flexible and reliable approach to work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
- Awareness of health & safety and infection control requirements
- Ability to undertake manual handling tasks (training will be provided)
Hours of work Monday 0800-1400, Tuesday 0800-1400 & Wednesday 0800-1315
