Girls' Physical Education Teacher Sought for Esteemed Secondary School in Merton
Our client, a highly regarded secondary school in Merton, is seeking a qualified and experienced Girls PE Teacher to join their thriving department on a full-time, permanent basis from September. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant contribution to the school's sporting achievements and inspire a love of physical activity in young women.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated PE lessons to girls across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Develop and implement innovative schemes of work aligned with the National Curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement
- Lead extracurricular sporting activities and school teams
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE department's effectiveness
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physical Education
- Proven experience teaching PE to secondary school girls
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for girls' sport
- Strong behavior management skills and a commitment to safeguarding
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
