UK Shops Campaign Marketing Manager (4-Month Fixed Term Contract)

The UK Shops Campaign Marketing Manager plays a key role in the planning and delivery of Pret's national Shops Marketing campaigns and in-shop POS across the UK estate.

The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of campaign activity, translating national marketing campaigns into compelling, effective and operationally executable activity across Pret shops.

This is a highly hands-on and cross-functional role, combining excellent project management with strong executional delivery. The role will manage complex campaign timelines and multiple workstreams, bringing together internal teams and external partners to ensure campaigns and POS are developed, produced and delivered to the highest standard.

A key focus of the role is managing the development of campaign creative and ensuring it is effectively translated into the full range of Shops Marketing and POS assets, while overseeing the production and delivery process through ITG and other external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign planning & delivery

• Manage the delivery of the national Shops Marketing campaign plan, ensuring campaigns are effectively translated into engaging and operationally executable activity across the shop estate.
• Bring together campaign timelines, deliverables and dependencies, managing multiple workstreams to ensure activity is delivered on time and budget in partnership with ITG.

Creative & campaign development

• Manage the development of campaign creative and assets for Shops Marketing, coordinating the process from briefing through to final approval.
• Work closely with the Creative team to ensure campaign ideas are effectively translated into the full range of required in-shop marketing assets and POS.

POS production & ITG management

• Lead the relationship and day-to-day workflow with ITG, managing the production and delivery of campaign POS and materials.
• Ensure clear briefs, timelines and approval processes are in place and that all materials are delivered accurately and to a high standard.

Stakeholder & project management

• Coordinate internal teams and external partners involved in campaign delivery, ensuring clear responsibilities, alignment and accountability.
• Proactively manage risks, issues and competing priorities, keeping projects on track and ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders.

Budget management

• Manage the Shops Marketing and POS budget, including planning, forecasting and tracking spend across campaigns and production.
• Ensure strong financial control, managing POs and invoices and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and maximise the value of investment.

Process & operational excellence

• Continuously improve ways of working across campaign planning, creative development and POS production to make delivery more efficient and effective.

Requirements

• Significant experience working within or alongside marketing teams at large retailers, brands, or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) businesses
• Proven track record of project or campaign managing marketing activity end-to-end, from strategy and briefing through creative review and approval to execution, ideally within print/POS for retail environments
• Demonstrable ability to take full ownership of the campaign process, coordinating effectively across multiple stakeholders and managing complex timelines
• Confident, self-sufficient operator, able to quickly understand new ways of working and deliver with minimal onboarding support
• Comfortable working as an embedded extension of the agency team while operating within a client's internal team structure, able to balance dual reporting lines and competing priorities with diplomacy and professionalism
• Available to work from the client's London office a minimum of two days per week
• Available for a Fixed Term Contract via secondment
• No specific educational requirements; equivalent experience is equally valued
