Following up with parents/carers regarding absences or lateness
Supporting interventions to improve attendance and punctuality
Maintaining accurate attendance records in the school management system
Generating reports for leadership and pastoral staff
Liaising with external agencies, such as the Local Authority, regarding attendance issues
Providing administrative support to the pastoral team as required
Promoting a positive culture of attendance and punctuality among pupils
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Have experience in a school or administrative role, preferably involving attendance monitoring
Be confident using school management systems and Microsoft Office
Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills
Be able to manage confidential information with discretion
Be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
Have a supportive and approachable manner with pupils, parents, and staff
