Site Engineer Woking (AWE Project)

CarmichaelUK is recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Woking , supporting works on a high-profile AWE scheme .

We're looking for a practical, hands-on engineer who enjoys being out on site, taking ownership of engineering activities, and working closely with site teams to deliver works safely and efficiently.

Location: Woking
Rate: £320/day Ltd
Duration: Long-term opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying for civil engineering and infrastructure works
• Providing day-to-day engineering support to site operations
• Checking works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Producing and maintaining quality and as-built records
• Supporting site managers and supervisors with engineering solutions
• Liaising with subcontractors and ensuring works are completed safely

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong setting out background using Leica, Trimble, or Topcon equipment
• Comfortable being site-based and working closely with operational teams
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• CSCS card required
• A proactive, boots-on-the-ground approach to project delivery
• AWE clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance would be advantageous
