Connex Education is working with a SEND school in Winsford, who are looking for a teaching Assistant to join their team.

The school cater for secondary ages students with Moderate Learning Difficulties. The staff here provide high quality care and education to their students, working with parents and external agencies to promote indepedence and prepare the students for mainstream college. The school day follows a daily structure, which allows students to move around the school for lessons, whilst also offering access to a dedicated pastoral / welfare team made up of trained professionals.

This role is working on Mondays to friday, starting at 8.30am and finishing at 3.30pm and is due to start in September 2026.

Person Specification:

* Have a experience / interest in working with SEND
* Be confident working within a team
* Be confident working with MLD and / or challenging behaviours
* Be adaptable and approachable
* Have a current DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for new one
