Location: Alanbrooke Barracks, Thirsk, YO7 3EY 
Pay: £12.71 per hour (£13,263.65 per annum) 
Contract type: Temporary, maternity cover from Jul 2026 to Jul 2027, 20 hours/week  
Shift times: Mon–Fri, this role is flexible to fit within school hours 

Join Aramark UK as a Cleaner/Housekeeper at Alanbrooke Barracks , Thirsk. You’ll help keep accommodation/living and sanitary areas clean, safe, and well-maintained.

What you’ll do:

• You will ensure a high standard of cleaning is maintained throughout the Warrant Officers’ & Sergeant’s Mess. 
• You will work alone but on occasion as part of a team, always working to ensure all daily tasks have been covered. 
• Duties will include general ablution and kitchen cleaning, sweeping, mopping, hoovering, waste disposal - including adhering to all waste segregation requirements. This role also includes making-up bedrooms for any guests. 
• Reporting hazards and checking equipment to ensure they are in good condition, reporting any issues to management. 

What we’re looking for:

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site. 
• Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role. 
• Must have a reliable mode of transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.
