We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our inclusive and thriving Primary School in Newham. This permanent role, starting January 2026, provides a fantastic opportunity to inspire pupils as they prepare for the next stage of their learning journey.

Working Pattern: Full Time, Term Time Only
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Suitable for: Experienced or Early Career Teachers (ECTs welcome)
About the Role
As a Year 5 Teacher , you will guide pupils through a key transition year in KS2, delivering creative, challenging lessons that build resilience, curiosity, and independence. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team that values every child’s success.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 pupils
Support pupils to achieve high academic and personal standards
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom culture
Work closely with colleagues and parents to support pupil progress
Contribute to wider school life and continuous improvement

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
A reflective and ambitious practitioner
