To support our continued journey, we are looking for an experienced Senior People Partner to join our team. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of a highly respected professional services business, partnering leaders whose expertise helps solve some of society's most important challenges. You'll play a key role in helping the business develop its people, strengthen leadership capability and create an environment where both individuals and teams can thrive.

The Opportunity

As a Senior People Partner, you'll work closely with Heads of Department and leadership teams across our UK & Ireland Energy Systems business, providing strategic HR support and trusted advice on a broad range of people and organisational matters.

Our leaders bring outstanding technical expertise and deep industry knowledge. As the expectations of both clients and employees continue to evolve, you'll help them navigate increasingly complex organisational and leadership considerations with confidence, balancing business needs, employee experience and long-term capability.

You'll act as both a trusted adviser and constructive challenger, helping leaders make informed people decisions that strengthen organisational performance, leadership effectiveness and employee engagement. The role offers a unique blend of strategic partnering and hands-on problem solving. One day you may be advising on organisational change or workforce planning; the next, coaching a leader through a complex employee relations issue or helping shape initiatives that improve engagement, retention and performance.

Based from either our London, Loughborough or Bristol offices, the role enjoys hybrid working but requires regular travel to other UK office locations in support of key stakeholders and team activities.

About You

We're looking for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a business partnering environment, building trusted relationships with leaders and helping translate business priorities into effective people strategies.

Working within a highly skilled, knowledge-based consultancy, you'll combine strong HR expertise with sound judgement, commercial awareness and the confidence to provide both support and constructive challenge. You'll play a key role in helping leaders strengthen organisational capability, lead through change and create high-performing teams that can deliver our ambitions for the future.

To Succeed In This Role You'll Bring

• Significant HR partnering experience with demonstrable local (UK) HR knowledge, gained within a complex, professional or knowledge-based environment.
• Strong employee relations expertise, with the judgement to navigate sensitive issues while balancing legal compliance, employee experience and commercial realities
• Proven experience partnering with senior leaders, helping them lead through organisational change and evolving business priorities
• The credibility, coaching skills and commercial awareness to influence decision-making and support leaders in building high-performing, engaged and effective teams
• Evidence of analysing people data and insights to identify trends, shape recommendations and drive informed decision-making
• A proactive, pragmatic and resilient approach, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) would be advantageous.
