Weekend Animal Facility Assistant

Labcorp is seeking an Animal Facilities Technician to join our team near Alconbury, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire .

Work Schedule: Saturday and Sunday – 8.00 am – 13.00 pm (10 hours total)

Job responsibilities:

• Daily welfare checks

• Provision of adequate fresh food and water

• Providing animals with environmental enrichment through play and exercise

• Assisting trained technician with procedures

• Ensuring enclosures are cleaned in accordance with clear instructions and maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness

Minimum Qualifications:

• Educated to GCSE Level with English and Maths

Preferred Qualifications:

• Animal Care Level 2 OR Animal Management Level 3

• Institute of Animal Technology qualification

Additional Job Standards:

• Previous experience of working with or caring for animals

• Passion for our industry

• Enthusiastic and committed attitude

• Reliable, with a hardworking approach to the job

• Due to the remote location of this site, there are no public transport links available
