Job description
As our Digital Project Manager, you will be instrumental in driving regional growth through innovative digital initiatives, supporting local businesses, residents, and social enterprises on their digital transformation journeys. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the digital future of the Borough and work within a collaborative and dynamic team committed to economic progress.
We are seeking a motivated and strategic professional to join our Economic Development team and help drive business digital innovation project, business growth and economic development programmes.
The role is focused on developing and delivering programmes, securing investment, building partnerships and working within a council environment to deliver outcomes for local businesses, communities and residents.

About you
Successful candidates will have experience in:
- Strategy and programme design - developing initiatives that support economic growth, innovation, and digital transformation.
- Funding acquisition - identifying, securing, and managing external funding opportunities.
- Partnership development - working collaboratively with government departments, businesses, education providers, community organisations, and other stakeholders.
- Programme leadership - leading projects and programmes from development through to delivery.
- Council reporting and governance - preparing reports, business cases and recommendations for senior officers, committees, and elected members.
- Staff and stakeholder management - building relationships, influencing partners, and coordinating delivery across multiple organisations.
